Focus on hydrogen
The establishment of a functioning hydrogen economy is critical for achieving the climate targets. ONTRAS is committed to developing a comprehensive hydrogen network in eastern Germany – integrated into the European hydrogen infrastructure. To this end, we are involved in national and European committees and are implementing a number of innovative and sustainable hydrogen projects. The two IPCEI projects doing hydrogen and Green Octopus Mitteldeutschland alone involve over 900 kilometres of pipelines by 2032.
