By reserving capacity, you can secure early planning certainty for your future hydrogen transport needs. Details of the reservation fee are available in the fees for capacity reservation.

Current Status of Reserved Hydrogen Transport Capacity
Market Information 4 builds on the previously published Market Information 1, 2 and 3. It provides an update on current reservation levels, remaining available transport capacity in each capacity zone, and recent developments relating to Germany’s hydrogen core network. The reservation fees have been standardized.
The capacities published in Market Information 4 reflect the available transport capacities as of 7 October 2026, based on the contracts currently in place. These capacities provide the foundation for the hydrogen market ramp-up in all regions that will be connected to the hydrogen core network by that time.
As the hydrogen market develops, the capacity framework within individual clusters may evolve. Market participants are therefore expressly encouraged to submit requests that exceed the published capacity offering for a given capacity zone or for cross-cluster transport services.
All requests will be reviewed by the network operators on a case-by-case basis. Where justified by market demand, this may lead to a reassessment and adjustment of the available capacity offering.
For cross-cluster transport services, such reassessments could reduce the applicable clearing price or eliminate it altogether, provided that all transport requests for the respective gas hour can be accommodated.
