Market Area Conversion
The necessary and ongoing conversion of the gas quality from L gas to H gas pursuant to § 19a EnWG (market area conversion) must be initiated by the transmission network operator or the market area coordinator.
The costs that arise for a network operator for the necessary and ongoing conversion of the gas quality from L gas to H gas pursuant to § 19a EnWG are redistributed to all networks within the market area in which the network of the network operator responsible for the quality conversion is located. In the event of market area overlaps, the costs are split based on the ratio of the internal ordered capacity and the reserved capacity prior to the market area conversion.
The network operators responsible for the quality conversion report their conversion costs within the meaning of § 19a EnWG to the transmission network operators annually on 31 August. The apportionable redistribution costs are determined pursuant to KOV § 10 Cost redistribution of the apportionable costs for the market area conversion.
The market area levy amount you will find on our price sheet.
