Results of the 2022 yearly auctions: Marketing of firm yearly capacities at cross-border interconnection points and storage facilities
ONTRAS capacities at cross-border interconnection points (IPs) and storage facilities were marketed in the frame of the annual auctions from July 4th to 6th, 2022 on the PRISMA and RBP capacity booking platforms.
Compared to the previous year, there was less demand for the IP GCP GAZ-SYSTEM/ONTRAS in the direction to Poland. On the other hand, on the German-Czech border, where ONTRAS capacities are marketed by GASCADE at VIP Brandov, there was a strong demand by transport customers in the direction to the Czech Republic. No bookings were made at Lubmin II interconnection point, which is connected to the Nord Stream 1 pipeline. At ONTRAS storage connection points, capacities were booked to a very small extent.
