Tenders for load flow commitments

ONTRAS requires load flow commitments for the operation of its network within the market area GASPOOL and carries out a tendering procedure in accordance with Decision BK9-14 / 606 of the Federal Network Agency (KOLA). Load flow commitments are contractual arrangements between third parties and network operators as ONTRAS which warrant specific gas flows to one or more entry or exit points. They serve to increase the supply of freely allocable entry and exit capacity to the sufficient degree.

ONTRAS is thus continuing its commitment in accordance with § 9 GasNZV order to offer the highest possible capacity with the currently observed and projected capacity utilization and demand and the likely load flows. In addition, the flow commitments should help to avoid interventions in accordance with § 16 para. 2 EnWG to maintain the safety and reliability of the gas supply system.
