Cross-Border Capacities
ONTRAS has implemented the agreement of cooperation between the operators of gas supply networks situated in Germany as per §20 para. 1 b) EnWG (German Energy Industry Act). Capacities are booked according to the two-contract model.
Within the ONTRAS network area as well as within the ‘GASPOOL’ market area the two-contract model ensures gas transmission across all involved networks. The basis are an entry and an exit contract into and out of the TSO’s respective pipeline network. The necessary balancing group contract including the Virtual Trading Point (GASPOOL Hub) has to be contracted with the balancing group network operator GASPOOL.
Entry- and exit contracts with ONTRAS’ grid are concluded on the basis of our network access conditions.
