Cross-Border Capacities
As Germany’s second-largestTransmission System Operator ONTRAS markets the capacities at the almost 500 Interconnection Points within the ONTRAS network. Until 1st October 2011, 6:00 a. m., transmission customers can easily contract entry- and exit capacities at the market cooperation platform www.marktgebiete.com (“click-and-book”). After that date, all primary capacities have to be marketed at TRAC-X primary, the common platform of German Gas transmission operators for primary capacity. In order to do so, transport customers have to register for ONTRAS at the new platform. Details you will find on the TRAC-X primary websites.
Capacities are always booked in kWh/h. Thus, there are no risks concerning any capacity overruns or overruns due to varying gross calorific values.
