ONTRAS established network accounts for each network operator within the former ONTRAS market area. Each account reflects on a daily basis the quantities injected into the network against the allocated exit quantities as well as transfers into downstream networks, storage facilities and exit points at market area boundaries from this network.
The network account will not be invoiced. It serves to document the injections versus withdrawals of entries and exits out of the respective network.
State-of-the-art load profiles and correct nominations of all exit quantities ensure a reasonable balance of thenetwork account.
The imbalances of network accounts will be balanced by invoicing surplus and shortfall quantities.
Since the launch of the GASPOOL market area, ONTRAS has been recording only account transactions on ONTRAS network accounts that refer to events of the previous fiscal gas year ending 1 October 2009, 06:00 a. m.
