Below you will find the prices for the compensation energy (to settle balancing groups) of the former ONTRAS market area for the months October 2008 to September 2009.
Based on message No. 2 of the Federal Network Agency dated from 2008-12-23 concerning the fulfilment of “Gabi Gas” regulations (Implementing replacement values in case of lacking current reference prices), ONTRAS used this new required procedure to recalculate the respective prices for compensation energy as of October 2008. Thus, the respective values within the monthly price lists were amended.
The following prices for residual compensation energy* are valid for settling the daily imbalances of balancing groups and will be updated each working day:

Prices for compensation energy have been calculated as follows:
- APX TTF-Hi DAM All-Day Index
- APX Gas UK OCM SAP*
- APX ZEE DAM All-Day Index
- E.ON GT Settl. Preis ("EGT-VP")
*According to message No. 1 of the Federal Network Agency dated 2008-10-17 the balance group managers have to use "APX Gas UK OCM SAP" as a reference price instead of "APX Gas UK NBP".
The price being valid for the entire gas day resembles the price that evolved during that day in which the gas day began. Using the daily price for compensation energy the balance group manager recalculates the daily gas prices in €ct/kWh. This has to be done by using the current exchange rate for Great Britain Pounds into Euro as published on the website of the European Central Bank www.ecb.int ( www.ecb.int/stats/exchange/eurofxref/html/index.en.html) and the conversation factor for transferring the unit "therm" to kWh of 29.3071 kWh = 1 therm.
