ONTRAS operates Germany’s second-largest pressure pipeline network, over 7,000 km in length. As one of the market area-wide network operators within the GASPOOL market area we are responsible for the daily transport processes within our network. In cooperation with more than 130 downstream network operators we organise gas transports in our network area.
Secure and reliable monitoring of our gas pipeline network is guaranteed at all times by state-of-the-art tele control.
For technical operation and maintenance, we have experienced and reliable service providers at our side, working on the basis of an integrated quality management system, as per DIN EN ISO 9001, which is regularly inspected by TÜV (German Technical Supervisory Association).
The compressor stations integrated in the pipeline system, as well as numerous transfer, metering and control systems, ensure reliable transport of the gas.
